CSIR’s Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology offers South African voices

Qfrency bannerThe CSIR has developed commercial-grade text-to-speech (TTS) South African voices for Afrikaans and English. Prototype TTS versions of all nine the other South African official languages have also been developed. The voices are marketed under the Qfrency brand.
